News Report

In years to come I will look back at 2006 with some satisfaction. It was a strange year in that circumstanced change regularly and because of the help I got from my family and friends I was able to react positively. I started the year on a high working away at my various projects. John Kyle and I had decided that we would take a lease on a workshop in Kirkintilloch and this we did. It is a perfect size and easy to manage which is important as this is our hobby. Being involved in motorsport is very good at devouring time and money. It is therefore important to strike a balance that suits you because it is all about enjoying yourself.

Here is a summary of my year.

This site follows the exploits of a group of petrolheads in Scotland, comprising the leader, Graham Millar, (a motorsport junkie for 30 years), and his group of buddies. Collectively, they are "Rotor Racing." But why "Rotor?" Well the dictionary defines rotor as;

ROTOR Noun [c] = A part or system that spins
In his early racing days, Graham found that he did rather a lot of spinning. Hence, Rotor Racing.

This is the website of Rotor Racing, a Motorsport team founded in 1982 by Graham Millar to build and race Rotor Racing cars. Rotor Racing has always been a group `of unpaid amateurs keen on motorsport of all varieties. Over time the group have had a go at most things and in our archive section you can read about our exploits. Before 1982 Graham Millar competed in rallies and races in various cars. Details of these days and his present competitions are also included.
